My almost 8 year old is driving me nutso. It seems like whenever I try to explain something to her regarding schoolwork whe rolls her eyes and clenches her teeth. It's gotten to where I'm ready to send her off to school and I'm terribly dedicated to homeschooling.
I think it has something to do with her constantly reading and thinking that since she can read about anything she doesn't need me.
I know that I probably could switch tactics with her and the homeschooling situation would resolve itself, but I really don't like this attitude and would like to see that changed.
It's so bad that when I look at pictures of her, it seems like she has that same expression on her face in half the pictures. I hate feeling like this.

nah, it's not the reading. it's the AGE. 8 year olds are know it alls. I'm just gritting my teeth and waiting it out. ;)
