:D Mark talks to me! MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA and big grins! He had an appt almost a month ago. He was 17 1/2 lbs then and THEY said 27 inches long but there is no NO way he had to be at least 28 because he is way taller than my friends baby who is 27 1/2 inches. He is trying to crawl he gets up on his knees for just a sec and plops down. He scoots backwards a lot and he rolls everywhere. Im afraid he wont want to crawl anytime soon since rolling is getting him where he wants to go. He still only has his 2 bottom teeth. Working on the 2 top teeth. He is still exclusively breastfed at almost 7 months old. OK OK he DOES have small nibbles of like a roll or something but nothing huge, he's all about the boobie. I am getting slight pressure from friends to start "feeding" him. Im hearing "you're depriving him" "he's so ready, why won't you feed him?" Ugh, whatever I AM feeding him! And yes he grabs my plate yes he would stuff his mouth completely full of whatever food is in front of him, but he doesnt sit well on his own and he chokes on even the little bits of things I do share with him. Eh, whatever he's getting what he needs and he will have the entire rest of his life to eat like everyone else.
So, no crawling, but almost. No new teeth, but working on it. Gaining weight well and getting TALL. His hair is all funny right now, coming in reddish brown and sticks up all of the time. He says mamamamama and he makes kissing noises at me Joe and the kids. He also gives me giant slobbery kisses on my cheek everytime I pick him up. :heart:
