we usually dont; stress value too much, everyoen sends somethign in a $7-12 range, I think as long as you are sending soemthign you woudl really be excited and happy to recieve everyone eles will feel the same way :)

Ok I just ordered a book on the advice or Rachele (Rwikene) called "Sewing Tiny Toys" - she said that there is a little knight in armor that wasn't too hard to do..

I just got my "Felt Wee Folk" in the mail today.. and wowser!

I love the moat idea!! I missed the first group though so I won't get one of your lovely castles..but I wanna see pics:D

I still think the moat is a great idea as well. I am making turrets for this one so even if people are no tin the first one to get your castles, they will still get a turret in this one to use with the moat :)

I'm going to make royal pavilions and a little green wool patch to put them on. That way our royals can sit out in the summer months and be shielded from the sun. :p

The bendies are the ones from the other castle swap. I made this turret tonight. It is recycled cardboard. I used a paper towel tube for this one, but if I go with this design for the swap I am going to use wrapping paper tubes cut down because they are wider and sturdier. There is a little platform in the top about 1/4 of the way down for a bendy to stand on ... maybe the princess with her long hair (oh wait, that is Rapunzel, lol!). I am thinking also about attaching the door so that it opens and closes. What do you all think about it? Do you like it? It is the only one I made so if you think it's cheesy feel free to tell me; it won't hurt my feelings, lol!

i think its very cool:) how tall is it? i just want to be sure it fits in good with the castle, which i bought felt for tonight, so that the people in both swaps can put them together:)

Well, that one is as tall as a roll of paper towels, lol, since it is a paper towel tube :) But I will do them with wrapping paper tubes and can cut them to any size. LMK what size you think will work best for your castles :)

It's really pretty stuff because that dark sky looking part was just one section of the cut that I have, the other parts of it are more pastel looking, which I used to make these playmats for the mermaid swap.

Well, I went through three different ideas until I decided on my final one last night. :eek: I think they're gonna be really cool, though. :cuc:

the fireplace or well were a one or the other thing, and as far as i know unless i overlooked a box everyone got back extras if there were any and everyone got as much as i had. i knwo i did have people who dropped some spots soo maybe thats what is throwign everyone off.
I'll go look thru my stuff again though, since my ex is gone i have been trying to move into a craft area so my stuff is in 3 different places right now:lol:
