so i thought i woudl run downa bit what to send.

we usually dont; stress value too much, everyoen sends somethign in a $7-12 range, I think as long as you are sending soemthign you woudl really be excited and happy to recieve everyone eles will feel the same way :)

I am going to look for barrels, steins for the drunken pirates (the children don't have to know what they are really drinkin ;)), etc. just to have something for the pirates to do while they are on the ship. I was thinking they could just use the barrels as chairs. I will look for something to use as a table too. Is this ok with everyone?

Every day I get more excited about this swap. Seems my ds (4-who this will be a birthday gift for) talks about pirates more and more without my prompting.

Anyway, went to the craft store and had no luck with the steins. May try to make them out of clay. Found the barrels though.

Is anyone making the skull and crossbones flag? I was thinking of doing it out of felt and hand embroidering the skull and cb?! Wish I knew how to needle felt as that would look awesome!~!!

This one was started back in december but you could always start your own and see if more people wanted to join.

I keep forgetting to post this! I was at Michaels' last week and they have big treasure chests that I think all of the swap stuff could fit int. They would be pricey for someone to buy for the entire group ($4 or $5) but if you wanted to get them on your own they would be great I think. I was dreaming about coveing parts of mine with leather for the straps.
