the year I had 2 babies (morgan was barely 2 and charlie was crawling, under 1yo...) we had to tie our tree to either side of the bay window it sat in...we lost so many ornaments that year, lol.

Yeah, this year we've decided to not have a tree, since we have the 3 year old, 1 year old, a puppy, and 2 kittens. I figure between the 5 of them, 1 of them was bound to knock the tree over. Maybe next year!

he's a cutie! I put soft unbreakable ones on the bottom and let the kids put them up and take them down. The one year I did tie it to the couch just in case but it never got knocked over. I haven't put up any of my favorite breakable ones the past few years. My sil just has a small tabletop tree with unbreakables on it and the kids love it, they spend hours rearranging them
