ALL Cards have now been recieved!! I am now sorting and getting prepped for mail! Cards will be mailed today or tommorrow afternoon. Thanks everyone for participating!! Please post when you recieve your cards so i know everyone has theirs :)

(Quick explanation- you are making 10 identical cards, you mail them to me and include a SASE. When I receive everyones cards, I divide them up and mail them back out. You will receive 9 of other peoples cards and one of your own back.)


Details:
Quantity is 10 Full Cards, any theme you want :)
Quality products, (ie: cardstock, not construction paper..lol..basically make it a card you would want to receive).

Deadline:
Postmark – January 20. I will mail them out by Feb 15, sooner if received sooner.

Recipe:Include Swapper’s Real Name, Amity Name, Swap Name, e-Mail address.

Mailing Instructions:
First Class: Place baggie inside a self-addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess. To insure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, Please include an additional .39 stamp as some cards weigh more. I will return it if not used. DO NOT place metered strips on return envelope, first class stamps only.
OR
Priority: Inside your baggie, include a self-addressed priority label and one $4.05 priority stamp. Swap hostess will provide priority box or envelope.

When would the deadline be? I might be interested but I think I would need the mail in date to be after Christmas.

As for the envelopes, i figured envelopes are so cheap to buy in bulk, yet add more bulk to the postage, it would be best just to leave them out, kwim?

It would be nice to include a seff adressed customs label too. I have to put them on just about everything I send so this was a no brainer for a swap for me...ok, it did require some brainage. This way if Amanda has to put one on your package, it's already done. YK??

Mine went out yesterday so you should have them soon! I can't wait to all the cards. This is my first card swap. I hope mine are acceptable to everyone.

I'm sure they will be awesome!!!!!!!!!! I was so nervous with my first card swap, i thought everyone would think my cards sucked..lol.

BTW...I forgot to ask...will American stamps work shipping from Canada?

When i have done swaps in the past, the post office here always told me i couldnt put canadian stamps on my SASE, they had to be US stamps..so i am ASSuming that it will work, if not, I will send everyones postage back and take full blame..LOL

For the future, I think what i will do is just get people to throw in like 3$ in cash if they are mailing from the US and i will figure out what needs to be on what, kwim. Sorry for any confusion, mamas!

Ok, I thought of the customs form, didn't think about the stamps. I would be happy to send you postage $ however you want it if what I sent won't work out.

Mine went out on the 18th or 19th I think.

I didn't see the post about the customs form. WAH. Sorry, Amanda. Please lmk if I owe you anything. I just put the stamps *in* the new envelope in case you can't use them or something. I did ship late (um, Dh maile don Tuesday), but you should get them soon. They said 5 days at most. :)

Ok my PO didn't say anything about custom forms. Let me know if there is something I need to do. I mailed on Monday (late I know) and they said 4-7 days and I included priority postage to come back to me.

I need to back out, I am sorry. I haven't made it back to reship the cards,again!!! and I was soo frustrated with the return of the ones I sent I think it's better to let this one go. I am sorry.

You could ask for a swap angel to fill in- there were at least 2 mamas that wanted to play :) I wouldnt mind extending it a week to give someone time...

Ok, questions... Do we include envelopes with our cards? Does anyone wanna show me one that they did? I just don't want to under or over do.. my stuff really ranges in complexity.

I can post a pic of mine tommorrow if you would like to see. I did one layer + vellum + ribbon. Nothing too complex :) And we had decided no to the envelopes, just to keep shipping prices down.

I agree with Tiffany. I find myself wanting to hoard the cards, though, because they are so pretty. I have given quite a few away. I can't wait for the next swap to be finished!
