Anyone up for a quickie New Year's themed nature table swap?? Limit - First 5 people so we only have to make 4 of each item. Mailing date - firm on Saturday, December 17th (that gives almost 2 weeks, and 2 weeks for everything to get here and get back by New Year).

Ya know..I just realized these have to be pretty small..but the way I make any of my crackers..I just did ones for Christams..they are pretty big.

I think they are for a nature table..but I am not 100% sure..that is why I am waiting until I find out for sure. Then I know what I will do...LOL.

I finally figured out what to do! I am doing miniature items linked to New Year customs. I made everyone a bunch of 12 grapes, because in Spain it is custom to try to eat 12 grapes while the clock is striking 12. I made a black eyed pea for everyoen because it is a Southern tradition to eat a black eyed pea on New Year's Day to ensure good luck and wealth in the new year. I made a clock that I will put the hands at midnight when they are dry. And I made little champagne bottles, for that midnight toast! LOL!

I finished my stuff but really hate the clocks. kenna keeps calling them radios, lol, and I do think they look more like radios than clocks. I have a really cute idea for little Happy New Year banners that I think I will try out and send instead of the clocks. Plus my banner would go much better in theme with my other items (the New Year's customs from around the world).

Black night sky backdrop with splotches of colors on it for fireworks (can't remember which country, but it is traditional to sit on the beach on New Year's Eve and watch the fireworks)

Everyone tried to eat them before the clock finishing striking 12, and apparently is gets really messy as everyone starts laughing at everyone else, lol. The other little tiny thing is a black eyed pea, which I realized when i packaged them up i never painted the black spot on! But it is a southern tradition to eat black eyed peas (or at least one and my mil used to tell me) to ensure a prosperous new year ;)
