What is everyone thinking of making/ I want to try to make a snowy scene of some sort, but have no idea what I am really thinking yet. If I don't do that then I am going with my original idea of penguins.

i am planning on needle felting a snowy mat (alittle smaller than 8x10) with some sort of hiding spot on it...most likely a blob with a hole LOL

That instant snow looks relly neat. kenna watched the video on it with me and now she saus she has to have some (nevermind that there is snow outside here, and it is supposed to snow again tonight!)

And I'm roflmao that you don't even have a nature table yet, but you are in all these swaps. See, not you HAVE to make a table just so you have somewhere to house your growing collection , lol !

We have 3. I have my own in my office, that is now not up. I am taking the table out that it used to be on and using that table to make Holden a train table for the holidays. I will be bringing the kitchen table down here for my nature table (of course, we will not have a kitchen table until I can find something ... but one leg is broken anyway and it's not safe enough to have in the kitchen anymore with kids climbing on it!). Kenna has her own in her room. it's spread out all over her dresser top. That's the one I usually post pics of. The one I posted pics of with the Thanksgiving set up is the family nature table, which i s in the living room. It's a train table (too small for our train tracks) with a recessed top and we only put things that can withstand Holden-play on that one.

If it makes you feel any better we don't have a nature tabel either. Kitty will steal things and Duke, our new dog, just ate 10 mushrooms that were set up in a fairy circle this week. When we move in the spring/summer we will set one up where it can be safe.

I don't even have kids that are interested- yet...lol I figure when I start playing they will take over.

I had so much fun making my little sets for this swap! I hope you all like them!

Everything is made out of sculpey clay. The blue is the water, and is is painted with diamond dust to make it look like it is a bit frozen. The white is the snowy iceburg, and it has white flocking on it to make it look like it is really snowy :) They are attached. Then there is one penguin and one seal, and I have a ton of those wishing stones, so I will include a few in everyone's set for some ice. There is also a little tiny penguin egg.

Ok..I am going to make snow scene of some type. I have in mind a bare tree or two...on a mat of sorts. Oh I know WHAT I wanna do..its just hard to explain it...LOL There will be other tihngs with it as well..Think I will just make one soon and show you all:)

how is everyone doing? i made an earth colored mat that i like how it turned out. when i tried to add snow it looked terrible. so - i am now just planning on needle felting white mats with little caves. they look bare so i will try and add something but not sure what else i can make or find.

I started on mine tonight. making the core of the bunny bodies from wool and then I'll felt roving over that. So far so good, i hope to be done in the next couple of days. :D

I have nor started mine yet, but i am thinkign of making little snow caves for animals to nestle in.

I'll measure one tomorrow when they body parts are put together and the ears are on. A little rabbit hutch would be so sweet.

So when he figures it all out..I will snap of pic of the little scene I have:)

They all come on a white felt mat that has silver glitter in it. Each has a little pond and ice rocks that go around it..a bare birch tree, a snowman and snow balls:) Great place for our winter bendies to have some fun;)

Remember I am sending insta-snow! this stuff is sooooo cool..we have been playing with it since it got here.

For each member I am sending 10 packets that you mix with 1/4 cup water and it makes over 2 cups of snow to sprinkle around. You can just mist lightly to keep it fresh indefinately- or dry and re-use, or just toss it and use your next packet!

Kris - if you don't make them "snowier" then they can be used in other seasons, and for winter we can use Zoe-Ann's insta-snow :)

I got a confirmation on the order for the boats yesterday and tey are now all paid for. I am guessing they will ship tomorrow, and since it cost me over $7 and they are in the US, I am assuming they are coming priority. As soon as they get here, I am mailing everything out to you. Oooo!! I didn't even know that! Very cool! I am pretty happy. I'll bet it is because they are trying to compete with the new Michael's that opened up a couple of months ago. There are now 3 stores within 5 min of each other... Michael's and then Joann's and the Rag Shop are across the street fomr each other.

I am trying to save up funds for a cheap embroidery machine. You know I have been dying for one forever, and I am just never going to be able to aford a realy nice one. But I can pick up a Brother and then maybe somewhere down the line I will be able to upgrade it ... anyway, you will have to come over to help me figure out what the heck to do with it, lol, and we can go to Joann's ;) With any luck I will be able to get the machine before gnomes :) That's the plan at least!

ugh - i was finishing up the winter scenes and ran out of wool roving!!! i am running to my lys today (gotta sneak outta work - hopefully they are open) or definitely tomorrow.

I can't mail today either. I think Lily may have slep 3 hours total last night and 20 minutes this morning. Maya was up from midnight to 6 this morning playing in her room. They both break down in tears if anything goes wrong so i don't even dare to put them in the car and go to the PO.

peaceful winter and v-day are going out today. got nothing else done - got struck with the puking/pooping virus thingy sat nite. even had to call dh home from a card game to help me out! spent sun in bed all day and monday i had to take care of everything i couldn't do this weekend! LOL
