LOL I should have taken before pics--but I didn't think to. Plus, I can't post pics. But i was so proud of myself that I asked my 16 yr old to do it when i was done. Then he posted a pic for the marketplace.

The desk still has stuff on it, but you can only imagine what it might have looked like given what it still there. :eyes: There is no junk on it now, just stuff we use and need. (Including my EO and badger balm lol) I cleaned out tons of bits of paper and mail, and i filed a bunch of stuff in that hanging file folder you see.

The paper trail for 4 kids and two adults is staggering. Crazy.

The pantry was every which way a mess. I like to sort everything, but the children don't. :rolleyes: I was driven by the desire to fill a bag for the post office food drive.

Thanks. It's white-washed oak beadboard. Looks pink in the pix! lol Looking at it IRL, I suppose it does have a bit of a pink tinge.
