what is the best measurements for a throw blanket? Something to throw over your shoulders or on your legs while reading. Thank you, Heather

In my house, the fav. throw is a piece of Halloween fleece that was never sewn up into anything. It is 60" wide and just about 8" over 2 yards. This is a generous size I think. I like to make them about 50-60" X 62-70"
