I have reached a new level of Domestic Neurosis.
My kids were playing out in the backyard in the 7 inches of snow we have today... having a blast but then Cyan came in crying that her hands were "freezing off".

So great! You are no dork! My kids, and most of the kids I know, have mits made by me on I have a wonderful 3 piece pattern that is so easy. I love to give leather back of hand mits to people who ride a bike alot. Like college students. And I make wild 3 color ones for the homeless shelter. ( I like to see the kids with cool stuff)
You are no dork, cuz I refuse to be a dork!

Thanks for the commets everyone. The kids were sure pleased about it. They held up much better than I thought too. From the diapers I had when Cyan was a baby, I thought that the fleece would wick the water right into the liners (which were just cotton t shirt jersey) and they would be wet, but warmer so more than worth it, but... Alex came in yelling "My hands arn't wet at all mom!" lol... so I guess they were a bit cooler than I thought. :D
