Do you put the knife up? I'm going to serge some fleece socks for xmas presents. Last time I tried going around a curve with the serger it chopped it all up, lol.

Humm... I serge curves all the time. some sergers are harder to use on curves than others. It just takes some practice to get the hang of it. Practice on some scrap fabric before you try it again. Oh and no I don't put the knife down on curves.

Really really slowly. I usually stop for a second just before I reach the curve, then grab the little piece that is being cut off, kind of to help give it tautness, then go slowly and carefully turn around the curve. It gets easier the more you do it. Fleece though, that might be hard since its so slippery.

My husband came up with a great way to serge curves. We were making circles of fleece (snowman eyes and buttons.) He showed me that keeping the fabric tight (pulling slightly) and making the machine pull it through worked really well for keeping everything serged and trimmed correctly. He likened it to working with a router - make the machine do the work, don't help it.

yep. Let the machine pull the fabric through it.
