The way the game goes is that you go to the dollar store, greenbacks, 99cent, whatever your local nothing-over-a-buck store is and you purchase a unique, fun, pretty, special ornament there - the least cheap looking one you can find lol.
These usually will cost only a few stamps to ship so this is a swap that even those mamas struggling financially might be able to do. It'll cost you ONE DOLLAR (no more, no less) for the ornament - and yep, you can even make an ornament if you'd like as long as it doesn't cost you more then a buck to do it.

Shipping shouldn't be more then a few stamps.

this is a great idea Barb! I'm game for one or 2 matches. We have like 10 ornaments for our tree...lol. Our local walmart even has a decent selection of ornaments for $.97.

Secular Christmas with a spiritual side honoring all traditions, Solstice/Yule. I prefer non-cutesy decorations, with a more nature oriented theme.

I'm in! I don't think we are going to be able to get a tree this year, being that we are moving from Florida to NY, but I'd love to get in on the exchange.

We celebrate the Solstice and participate in our extended families celebration of Christmas.

Wal-mart has a line of natural ornaments made of acorns/small pinecones, etc. that I absolutely love and are in the price range!! I prefer non-cutesy too but glitter/sparkle is always good cause my children love it.

I received mine (it was great thank you so much but I loved the cuties in the card even more of course ;) ) and sent mine out priority on Saturday.

I apologize for taking so long to mail mine out but I've barely had time to breathe the last two weeks much else do anything fun like this. :( Sucky part is none of it even had to do with the holidays so I can't blame it on that. LOL.
