My youngest will be 10-months-old this week and she has yet to crawl. It's not bothering us, she gets around fine on her bottom scooting everywhere. I'm just curious if anyone else here is a scooter.

Reagan doesn't really crawl either, but she doesn't scoot. I don't know what to call it! She puts her head down and pushes herself across the floor, lifts her head up to see if she has gotten where she wants to go, then does it again. She ends up with rug burn on her head if we let her do it too much!!

journey (10 1/2 mo) just in the last 2-3 weeks is completely crawling. she had been doing mostly army crawling (pulling herself w/her arms) everywhere since about 7 mo. it just gradually became full crawling.

Both Gage and Seth army crawled from about 5 months old until they were around 10 months or so. Then, they crawled the typical way.

My mom and dad told me I scooted around on my butt and never crawled. I recently saw a video of it and it was hilarious!

My dd scooted on her butt and didn't actally crawl until she was 12 months old. She started walking at 14 months. My 1st 2 boys started crawling at 6 months and then walked at 9 months, so I was kind of freaked out but she was fine.
