I sang a lullaby to each of my children. A little, small lullabye.
Anyway, this Sunday, after church, the organist was talking about composing a piece. I asked him if he could help. And he did, right then.
It took about ten minutes in the choir room. I sang the song, and he got almost all the notes immediately. He played them on a synthesizer plugged into a composing program. The notes came up on the screen, on the computer. He changed the tempo marks, and it changed how it played. It's a waltz in 6/8 time ( a colicky waltz.) And then he printed it out, with my name as composer. He asked if there were any others. :)
Isn't that great? I'm so happy- I am going to put copies in their baby books- their very own lullaby.
