i just started renting the series from netflix and wow - i still cant decide if i like it or not lol i was a wee bit tired of seeing dirty naked women with the first episode but then came the 2nd episode and i got see dirty naked men (full penis shots), also wasnt that entertaining after about 2 min bwhahaha

i ordered the 2nd dvd (episodes 3 and 4 from season 1) so i could continue to watch it and see if i like it or not. its hard for me to decide, i mean i usually dont like westerns (even though i love a man or woman in a cowboy hat) and the amount of extreme cussing has me (yes me, the former s&m club worker) blushing, but i keep thinking about the episodes wondering what will happen next and i guess thats the main thing right?

anyone else watch this?

we watched it a bit---- mark was much more into it than I was. To quote DH-- "I thought it was great-- I though it was at least as good as the Sopranos". I have only seen 2 episodes, so maybe I need to watch more.

i think you will love Carnivale-- I am sooo bummed the 2nd season isn't out yet!! Nothing like a carnival of freaks in the middle of the depression coupled with a grandiose battle between good and evil and the overarcing question on the nature of good and evil, and on appearances. oooh its good, lol. I think too highbrow to actually make it as a tv show--- not enough sex ;) (although there is a little lesbian lovin towards the end of the season )

I can't wait for the second season of Deadwood to come out. Dh and I love it! We tried to watch Carnivale but two dvds we got from Netflix were broken and after that we gave up. I'll have to put it back in my que.

We love love love Deadwood though and I'm not into Westerns either. We even sent ds and his grandparents to Deadwood on their cross country trip. They videotaped and took pics of Wild Bill's and Calamity
