i know its probably because she sleeps so long (from 730pm to 930-10am) but man i need a good nighttime diaper recommendation.
sarah is 14 months and every morning i go in and she is soaked in pee. i mean *soaked*, bed needs changing, dolls need washing, she needs a bath.
i have tried just about every cloth diaper option, every disposie, wool longies over a disposie, wool longies over a fuzzibunz, i am wondering if maybe rubber pants over a disposie might work? i have also tried waking her up to change her diaper and that only makes her SUPER cranky (like screaming at the top of her lungs for 2 hours cranky - of course who can blame her, i wouldnt like to be woken up early either lol)

joy and pain....sunshine and rain
(sorry couldn't resist)
i guess there is a silver lining to my children that wake at the crack of dawn.
can you limit what she drinks nearing bedtime? i don't really know what she's drinking or eating... i assume she doesn't wake and drink anything at night.
have you tried going up a size on the sposies?
what do you stuff the fuzzibunz with?
well lets see, lol i only THOUGHT liam was a super peer--- simon blows him outta the water (lpun intended ;) ) with simon I use a lukes drawers diaper with a trifold soaker, a hempers insert as a doubler under the trifold, then a heavy fleece topped doubler next to his skin (hemp also and about 8 layers). Then I use a bear bottoms pull on nighttime weight soaker over it, and if I am feeeling like hes going to be asleep awhile, fleece pants over that. You can also do wool pants over it, making sure they are felted, and a wool doubler in the pee zone between the diaper and cover-- very heavy felted wool woks great and it doestnt have to be super soft because it doesnt touch the baby much.
hth!

i've tried the rubber pants over sposies on cole.....didnt work. what helped was limiting his drinking at night, making sure he pottys before bed & larger size sposies.
they make "doublers" for sposies. looks like a maxie pad...might be worth a try?

when taylor was in dipes still, i did 2 premium prefolds w/ a wool soaker. maybe you could try that and possibly add a joeybunz or whatever you are stuffing the FB with as a doubler between the prefolds.

Bran and I thought you were the diaper diva
OK my new favorite night diaper I have been using on Finn who sleeps 12 straight hours at night unless I wake him up is an SOS diaper
they are mostly hemp and hold alot of liquid. I only have 1 right now with a doubler and the workmanship is really nice.

I use it with a wool cover and we have been great.
They are pricey. They are hard to get. She stocks once a week on FRidays randomly in the day (after noon) and everything is sold in under 1 min.
I have purchased one new and one used which I have not recieved but needs the elastic replaced. She makes bunchs more girl styles then boys and did I mention how nice the workmanship is? wow!

what about a heavy duty nighttime hemp fitted with heavy duty felted wool over it?
an aristocrat or a knitted wool soaker made out of PEace Fleece or Bartlett's. those are both very heavy duty yarns and felted...well i jsut can't imagine a heavily lanolised felted soaker made out one of these yarns not holding...especially if you added a wool doubler and used a real hemp nighttime fitted or a seriously hemp stuffed fuzzibunz
you can buy either one at ltk
How about 2 sposies? I think that's what my friend used who has a super duper soaker. Actually I think it was 2 disposable pull-on or night diapers and something else over the top, I don't remember.
Maybe you could try getting there right as she wakes up and sit her on the potty?
