:wah: I feel so bad. Our bed is high up too, about mid thigh on me (I'm 5'7") All of my kids have fallen off at least once by this age, but its still unsettling. I was helping Megyn put a necklace on that goes with her Halloween costume. We were getting ready to go to a lil party of sorts. Anyhow, I hear this thud. I whip around and practically knock Megyn down and find Mark in the floor!! He was crying, not frantic, but crying. I scooped him up and talked to him and kissed him and he calmed down finally. It didnt actually take long, but it felt like it did. He seemed a little stunned for a few moments after. He's fine now, but GOSH I hate that it happened. I feel like such a bad mom. I ALWAYS put a barrier up and I got distracted somehow and didnt. :eyes: *sigh* I was JUST thinking today about how the other 2 had fallen off of the bed by this point and how glad I was that he hadn't.

I think it's happened to all of us at some point or another. It's an awful feeling, but babies always bounce back and recover way faster than mama does.
