I am from Lyons, KS myself currently in Richmond, VA but we're trying to move BACK to KS - which I hope happens in the spring time! I SO miss Kansas, I am homesick! :)

It's Catholic and it's at 75th and Quivira - sort of liberally Catholic and smaller. I like it.

It's a pretty small town - I wonder if I know your dh lol. How old is he? If he grew up with me that would be hilarious huh?

I drive up north periodically - I used to drive there twice a week and never could meet up with anyone. Now the KC area is crawling with amity mama's. LOL - just my luck huh?

He's 30 but he only lived there for about a year when he was 4 years old, so I doubt you know him. There's a lot of people close to the KC area, I wish we were closer. We're about 3 hours away.

My closest cross streets are 140th and Roe. I would love to be part of a group. I don't knit, well I haven't tried- that could be in my future :lol:

Well, I'm putting an ad in my neighborhood flyer to gauge interest.

I'm at around 135th and Quivira. I'm at home Wed, Thurs, and Friday. I'm thinking I'd host and that the knitting group would be weekly (btw, I'm not a great knitter; I only recently learned) and the book club (for girls 3-5) would be monthly.

Any suggestions or interest? Days of the week?

Wednesday or Friday mornings would work for us for either group. I could host here as well if it gets off the ground. The book club for that age sounds so cute. What a great idea.

No one is ever near me. lol I'm in East Central Kansas about 100 miles from KC and Pittsburg. I'm in Burlington, 60 miles south of Topeka on 75.

One of these days I will find someone within an hours drive of me. lol
