I would love to make my kids their Winter coats. I just don't know where to find the fabric. From what the last issue looks like, I could get the suede/sherpa or really thick quilted fabric/sherpa kind of stuff on the back and it is reversible. It would be super easy to make coats with that kind of stuff. KWIM? I once saw the suede stuff at a Hancock's once a few years ago. I looked at JA's and Hancock's today with no luck.
Any ideas? TIA!

dang I can't remember the url, it is on my other browser, but the fabric place in germany sells them... der stoffen_____ I wish I could get more info. I contacted Hilco and they said there are no outlets for their fabrics in the US and recommended this merchant.

I made Mikhail the leather one from 3/03 (i think) 2 yrs ago. I used real leather, and temp spray adhesive to attatch sherpa to the underside. All the stitching kept the layers together after it was made. I also made a fleece one for Chrissy out of 4/03 (again, I think). Both were very easy to put together. I plan on making all the kids that need new jackets this year ones from Ottobre also.
