I know I know how to do this...but I sat down today to work on a skirt and my mind has gone blank...can someone refresh my memory on how to do a french seam? Thanks bunches!

French seams are easy-peasy. Just start with the wrong sides together and stich a narrow seam. Then trim to within 1/4 inch of your stitch line, turn inside out, and stitch again about 1/2 inch from where the first seam is. I love me some french seams, except when I get stupid and put them in the wrong direction...
