I was asked to start another tiny things swap, this time with a winter and a magical theme. You sign up for how ever many children you want, then send a set of magical and winter themed items per child you are signed up for. I will sign up for 2; I will send 2 sets of magical items and 2 sets of winter themed items.

Ship date is firm at Thursday, December 1st. Please do not sign up if you do not think you will be able to ship by then. Shipping back to you will be $3.85 for priority (as long as no one sends really big tiny things, lol!).

Some ideas of things to send are:

Magical --
Things that we had in the last magical tiny things swap were magic apples, besoms, magical stones, rings, wishing stones, mushrooms for a fairy ring, etc. It would be cool to try to have some winter themed magical items this time!

I want to send something that's magical AND related to winter ... like the besoms and the magical apples were magic and related to fall. That's where I am having trouble. I am thinking something to do with the sun, for Yule/Solstice, but I'll have to think some more.

We make this every year. McKenna thinks it is so great! I think that would fall under the winter/holiday category...

Someone on our street makes this and we get it in the mail every year from the mail lady. I need to figure out how to incorporate that inot Christmas since we don't "do" Santa LOL.

That's up to you. I think the count is either 9 or 10 kids total. I have one thing for everyone already together, including the items for my kiddos, so that everything is in one place when I give them their things.

I was planning on doing snowflakes painted on tiny square mirrors (they're about an inch square) Then I was going to do little felt "elf stockings" for the magical part. What do you think? Sound okay?

i haven't picked a tiny winter item yet (that shouldn't be hard) but for the magical one i was thinking of a tiny ritual drum or rattle.

i like the elf stocking and snowflake mirrors!

for winter I am doing tiny mittens and scarves that will fit bendies (I hope). For the magical I was planning on mini snowflake wnds but I haven't attempted them yet so it may not work out.

I love the ideas! I am sending tiny present boxes for holiday but don't know yet about magical. And I still ahve to get my butt in gear to get the stuff I am sending from Holden too!

I am just waiting on the applesauce ornies to dry:) Almost done..but they will go out on time. The Reindeer food has been done.

The ornies are sun shaped and most of the spices used in them relate to Yule..so I thought they would be fitting for this:D Not to mention how awesome they smell..hehehe.

You'll laugh at my "magical' thing. I couldn't get the wands to work right because I am super picky so I made bowls of pixie dust. Or, bowls of sparkly snow I suppose. It's open to interpretation. I also did little scarfs for bendies and plan to make hats since the mitten idea was no good.
On a side note, I think I have totally screwed up my swaps because in my head they all sounded similar. I asked for a calendar and when I wrote all of the swaps down I had the wrong ideas down for them.

i am actually sending out a swap item on time! yeah!

my magic items are bottles decorated with beads and wire. they are supposed to be jugs of honey wine (mead). you'll know them when you see them! the winter jingle bells are just plain jingle bells!!!

I forgot to update about my ornies...the little suns did not do well:( SO I had to make bigger ornies...they can go on your Yule Tree:D They smell so good too!

But some of my other Tiny Things have come out great...whew;) Cannot wait to see all the pretties:D

I had everything all sorted and was packaging them up to go out today but Holden flew into a rampage and started dumpin gthings out everywhere, so I have to resort everything and re package and they'll go out either tomorrow or Monday :( Sorry! I still haven't gotten Heather's packages for this or winter, but I will send things along when they get here (she is going to send winter out directly to everyone)

Hehehehe..kids will be kids. Lorna was a wild child in the store today...she is just excited with all the Holiday Hooplah...LOL! She kept running from one thing to another..oo..look at this mommy..oooooo look at his mommy...hehehe
