I went to the apple farm here to get some fresh apples and cider (yum!!) and the guy was having a yard sale, darn! Anyways, he had a singer 500 (rocketeer) still in the cabinet!! Of course I HAD to buy it even though I knew dh would give me grief about adding another machine to my collection. :happy: He did surprise me though, and was just as excited about it as me. :D Now I just need to get some needles tomorrow and I'm going to try it out!!

Well, getting rid of a machine won't make any room for this one since the one I just got is in a cabinet. :rolleyes: Jeremy is going to help rearrange my sewing room tomorrow, so hopefully we figure something out. LOL Oh, and it was $25, I'm hoping that's a good deal?

I :love: my rocketeer! Did you know they will take two needles so you don't have to buy twins?!

Oh also, I just use schmetz in mine, not singers.

I actually read this morning that I just use 2 regular needles and thought that was very convenient!! That's good to know that I can just use schmetz needles, although I just bought some singer needles tonight. :rolleyes: Now if I have questions about it once I get it set up, I know who to ask!! :D
