I have to start on my 7 year olds costume. I have to make him NightCrawler from the X-men comic books. So-its all by me designing it.
I am so lazy that the baby is wearing the same costume as last year(a monkey).
Anyone else kinda procrastinating?Erika

I've had the patterns and fabric for a while now. I've made the pants to the costume (for each of my dd's), and about 1/4 of one of the tops. I got stuck on gathering the neckline of Lauren's, and then put it aside. I've got to start working on them again today. If they don't work out for whatever reason, I'm going to need to buy costumes, and I don't want to wait until the very last minute for that.

I actually started today on the costume.
I did the red part (ninja vest part kinda thing-don't ask)
and the devil blue tail(need to stuff it)
all I need to do is the boot spats and gloves and finish the red part by sewing the bottom. Yes, I did some of it.

i broke down tonight and made the kids go to the dress up box to pick out their costumes. which is fine b/c we have a HUGE box of dress up stuff-the big rubbermaid container plus a small one for accessories, and i just threw away/donated almost that much  so they had a lot to choose from and they are ok with it.
ds is an alligator
dd is a clown
dd is a princess
sigh, we are broke and i don't feel like making the costumes :eyes:

Procrastinating here, too. We're all going as well, a Japanese family, I guess, LOL. DD and I are going to do our makeup and wear kimonos, and DH is going to wear a kimono, and the baby is going as a cat.

I have the material, but I don't feel like drafting the patterns or sewing them. *sigh*
