What is the weather like there and what kind of clothes are we going to need over say the next month?
We only have SOME pants, mostly shorts, short sleeve tops, and lightweight jackets. I have a feeling we're going to need more and have no clue where to start.
ANY help would be more than welcome.
Where are you going to be in NM? I live in Northern NM between Santa Fe and Taos and we are having quite a bit of rain lately and nighttime temps around 35 but up to about 70 during the day. It is probably a bit warmer than that (maybe 5-10 degrees higher) in Albuquerque, and even warmer further south. You are definitely going to want some sweaters and/or jackets and long pants for the mornings and evenings. Hope that helps! Have a wonderful visit here.

Thanks for the advice. We're moving to ALB at the end of the month. We live in GA right now so we're not use to having to do more than put on a sweater in maybe January and that's about it. I just want to make sure we're not taken by surprise and my kiddos stay warm. :)
Moving here! Duh! Sorry that I missed that in my previous post. I have always lived north of Albuquerque since I moved to NM, but you need pretty good winter gear here, not like Minnesota or North Dakota, but definitely more than Georgia :) . Long sleeve shirts and pants and sweaters for daily wear along with a jacket are necessary. I think in ABQ that there are only a few days each winter where it is actually snowing (maybe 5 or 6) and then it melts off pretty fast, but the temps are still fairly cold. I found this website and it may help, but keep in mind that the average temps it lists are not really daytime temps. Because we are sort of a desert, it is really cold at night but them warms up nicely when the sun comes up and there are many many sunny days in the winter. http://www.climate-zone.com/climate/united-states/new-mexico/albuquerque/
AAAK! I feel like I am probably rambling and not being very helpful. LMK if you would like any more info.
