I read about how good Pomegranate juice is for the heart and really love the POM brand varieties.
Problem is that they are expensive and when they do go on sale, I can't stock up too much becuase here in rural Wyoming, these juices are usually close to expiration date and stocking up is not possible when a sale is going on them.
Sales are so infrequent anyway. Two of our grocery stores carry the POM Wonderful juice.
Are there any mail order places to get this bulk but w/out having the exp date so darned close??
Once, I was able to stock up locally because they had a few different blends of POM that had a month until the exp date.
I paid full price for a bottle of it yesterday and hated to do that. I do make one bottle last two to three days.
Remember that I am very rural.....

I love it too, but have never seen it cheap.
Yummmm, its as rich and satisfying as red wine.
The cheapest I've seen it was for $5 a quart for Knudsen brand at Whole Foods, and that was on sale I think.
I wonder if there's anywhere you could get pomegranites and make your own? I don't suppose you live near an international grocery in the country, lol.

I LOVE it, I get it for myself as a special treat. NEVER seen it cheap tho... I stretch it by adding it to iced tea, juice, seltzer...

*lol*...yup no international grocery shops here in redneck-central! (I do love Wyoming but love to poke fun too)
I think that store (Whole Foods) was one we saw on our way back from visiting Children's Hospital and Swedish Hospital in Denver last time. We took a different route home and it took us through a small city that I really want to live in someday! It had a university...it was in Colorado and it was sooo crunchy! We were looking for a place to eat lunch where I could eat and not feel sick afterwards and we saw this giant supermarket type of store that also had a place to sit and eat and the food and everything was sooo neat! First time I've ever seen a store like that and it was sooo cool! Anyway, I think it may have been a Whole Foods store.
I told dh we need to take that route home again next summer when we go back to the hospitals. (we go again in December but I guess that route is too dangerous to drive in the winter...according to dh)
Anyway.....what a lengthy response of mine.

That was my dh's suggestion. He suggested I mix it with...is seltzer that fizzy water? If so, I think that was what he suggested I mix it with.
Does seltzer have sugar or any yucky stuff in it?
I may just have to mix it. I checked the two grocery stores yesterday when I was getting items and neither place has the POM on sale right now.

I found some once at Big Lots of all places! But that's touch and go on what they have at each store.
