Oh good, glad they got there. Of course I was just looking at the ap thread and realizing I needed to do a 4" square for the back. I'm totally blanking on the best way to do that. Any quick ideas so I can get them in the mail :o

I just took a piece of light-colored cloth and wrote with ballpoint pen. Perhaps that was not the best plan. but I had already tried writing it with the cloth-pen, and it turned out poorly for me. What did other people do?

I will look around again and definitely ask dh about it, but I have been carefully putting them all in one spot.

Mine are on their way, they were mailed the other day. I forgot my 4" squares too :( And I was going to cut them down to 10.5" (I started off bigger) but didn't have time, and was afraid to try to do it quickly and then mess up!

grrr! I hope they didn't get lost in the postal system. I mailed them out last week, but the one time I didn't do DC.....I think they only went out first class though, I can't remember I mailed out a few other things at that time too.....

I mailed mine late, but they should be there soon. I used a paint pen for my info. It worked ok. I also cut my squares at 11" so I didn't make them the wrong size. Can't wait to see everyone's work :)

My ABC squares are in the mail. I forgot to make labels - sorry! Do I need to send you money for return postage - I really spaced out on this swap.
BTW - I sent Apples and Leaves! :) Should go well with Tawnya's Zucchini and Pumpkins. :D

I have been keeping this list updated as I get squares. I have not recieved yours.

:( I'm not sure where mine went, I can't find the DC slip. I'm going to send another set off in the morning, if both sets show up please do what you like with the extras, maybe they can be for a future swap, lol.

Okay, didn't have quite enough Utah fabric, so some of you will be getting underwear-- I had a blue cotton with a little boxer shorts printed on it. It's truly amazing the bizarre stuff hidden in the depths of my stash lol.

What is this thing about a 4" square for the back? I only sent my 6" squares for the quilt. Was I supposed to send something else?

The 4" square was for the AP quilt swap, and I don't think it was mandatory anyway. AFAIK, that swap isn't complete yet either, so if any of you want to join, maybe you can PM Kristi to ask! :)

is there anyone that lives near her that can help get this shipped out? i'm sure that i'm not the only one that was planning on this as part of our kid's holiday...i'm not sure at this point that there would be time to make three twin sized quilts by then anyways, but thought i'd ask.

I know that this is frustrating, but the problem has not been my traveling it has been people not getting their squares in. As it is, I am doing 5 sets instead of 2 to get this done.

Also, we have only 7 of the 10 ap sets, but I am going to ship them anyway, I hope that works for everyone.

hugs to you, mama! i know you've been going through a lot, and i know it is not your fault...it sucks for all of us that folks dropped after committing to the swap.
