My current laptop got bounced. It has some interesting new features now such as random crashing and it likes to cook the processor every now and a again without warning. Then the wireless card broke and I have a semi functional pcmcia card in here so I can post (it works if I hold it at a strange angle and hit post at the same time). The final straw was the boys bringing me homemade icecream and me dropping it on the puter. Now the keys are sticky.
Anyway, we *thought* we had accidental damage protection on this but we don't and as it was a cheap recon. laptop it isn't worth repairing. It will work as a backup machine, but is just too frustrating as a main machine. It lost several hours of work the other day when I was saving some embroidery stuff I was digitizing.
Soo, Jon has bought me a new laptop.
I'd like a foodie name. My current one is called Blueberry because it has all these blue lights all over it. Our inkjet is called Skittles and our Laser is called Squid.
Any ideas? It needs a name to be hooked up to our network and I want it hooked up ASAP when it arrives tomorrow (I hope!)
