i got a burst of energy this evening and whipped this out in about an hour. i think the bodice needs to be about three inches shorter, but dd won't take it offLOL i will shorten it before she wears it out of the house, though.
mm lil' cowpoke and coordinate and some star stuff i found at hobby lobby that i think matches:) the trim is from i don't know where, but i think it pulls it all together.

lol, it is only the third thing i have made :rolleyes: we have all been sick and i work at a preschool three days a week, so i have made a grand total of 42 points (sigh)
but i have not bought anything yet.

thanks for the compliments:) i have been hoarding this not sure what to make, but once i decided, it came together very quickly. i just wish i had taken the time to call dd down so i could see how long the bodice needed to be. she "likes it long" but it looks out of proportion, so i will fix it soon:)

it helps tremendously that i am in the basement away from the kids. also, i tend to wing it instead of measuring with a pattern-hence the need to adjust the bodice. ;)
