Congrats to your friend!! The agency we went through does adoptions there...not sure if they will have info or not. It was called: Children's Home Society of Minnesota.

(our son came from Campeche, Campeche Mexico)

Yes I am single and adopting from Guatemala right now. There are several yahoo groups on it that you could join and get all kinds of info as well. You can email me if you would like. I'd be happy to answer any questions! It is a great country to adopt from if you are single! Lisa

Our little blessing came home about two years ago from Guatemala. His adoption story would be long and emotional, but if you want to give our email to your friend, feel free to do so.......

P.S. I can't imagine us with out him, now that he's here.....

My "friend" is my sister! I'm going to become an aunt!!! WHOO HOO!

Also, I get to go with her to Guatemala to pick up her daughter (at least she asked for a girl)!! I am soooooo excited!!!

She's almost done getting her dossier ready (she has one more homestudy)- the social worker is even comming to our house to talk to me and dh (I will be her daughter's babysitter) next week. She is going through Commonwealth.

I will keep you all updated!
