I taught Sage her name yesterday after she requested it (I showed it to her before, but she dropped it right away).

She was frustrated by learning the new S but then on her own made two pages full of them. then she asked for the a... again frustrated but on her own filled two pages with them. Then she asked for the g and I showed her the figure 8 lower case g . She immediately got this one and filled up the pages. she then asked for e and then how to connect the g and e for a ge ligature.

The figure 8 g seemed to provide a real break through for her- she had a huge improvment in attitude about the idea of practicing! She always asks for things, but hen gets angry when she can't do it on the first try.

I have changed my signature, but the old J comes back every time I sign a check!

I'm sure this means something.... off to my book.

"When the first baby laughed for the first time,
Its laugh broke into a thousand pieces,
And they all went skipping about,
And that was the beginning of fairies."

Kimberly - if you take the Vimala font software and type out what you want, you can change the font color to gray (grey?) and make the letters somewhat large. I've been doing that for Hunter's name. Robin Mc2
