I made her 8 pairs and she just loves them! So I need to make more. I saw that Angie was asking about trainers and thought maybe if there was enough interest I would do a sew along for them.

Hers were made from a basic 2 piece panty pattern that Michelle (belladonna) so kindly sent me. I modified them a bit by adding a waterproof layer of windpro, a layer of hemp fleece and an additional layer in the wet zone.

I used diaper FOE and regular 1 inch FOE for binding. The construction of these are fairly simple and pretty quick time wise.

They do not hold ALOT of liquid, just one pee, but that is exactly what I was going for. These are only for her to wear around the house during the day, not for naps or sleeping at night. I did not add a wicking layer because I want her to know when she is wet. And it is working well so far, she is very aware when she pees and tells me she is wet. If wanted you could add a layer of micro on top of the hemp fleece, as these are not bulky at all.

I also think they would be good for boys as well, as the hemp fleece covers a good area in both front and back.

I would so be interested in a sew along. Would you happen to have the pattern in a size 6? Those look very cute.

I was about to start making some little undies with pul outers to catch 1 pee at a time...but this looks wayyy better and so much easier. I was not looking forward to working with pul, elastic, soakers..
