I will organize this and have the mailing date the same as the ap quilt squares so you can send together if you are doing both and I can do all the shipping at once etc. Mary's quilt inspired me.

So, sign up below for your letters. :) Mailing date of sept 15th. You will send 26 identical 6" squares. Please label your sqaures with a sticker or something that says who it is from and what it is like a for apples. Please include a sase or 3.85 (can send paypal when you mail your squares as well) and I will stick them in a flat rate envelope.

ok so can someone do the math for me? i'm tired.

if i need 26 squares per letter, 6 inches each...assuming no fancy cuts (i'll adjust if needed), what is the MINIMUM yardage that works out to be?

i'm sorry, i happen to be math challenged when wide awake and i'm drifting off at the moment.

i've picked out rainbows and vegetables and am now in search of xylophones or xrays...

*sniff* if anyone drops, then I want in :)

I figured out that 2/3 yd or 24" should make 28 squares if it is 42" or 45" you can get 7 across the width and it would take 4 rows and have a little left over. That is if you don't have to cut out around the items. which would take more depending.

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing with their squares.

I am having trouble with the "J" I found John Deer fabric with tractors on it, or I have some fabric with jewels on it, but I don't like the quality of the jewels, what do you suggest? Do you think the John Deer would be ok? or maybe I should send both and let individuals choose?

I've got my E ready - Eagles. but I don't have all the little stickies with the username, etc on them. Will have to get to that next weekend so they can go out to you.

I'm a little behind...dh capped our checking account so he'd have enough cash for gas (gas shortage here in Atlanta & his job is mostly driving) so I will be a wee bit behind, maybe a week? If that is too late LMK and I'll pass my letters on...I'm sorry. I don't have internet at home right now-they should out to fix it next week but I'm checking some at the library.

I'd still love to be in it if the delay won't cause anyone to be too upset...I've found some great fabrics!
