journey is 6 1/2 months & gets terribly upset with my slow letdowns. is there anything i can do to make them faster? would fenugreek help?

I'm watching w/ anticipation... I've never had this problem before either, and Faith is really having tantrums over it. Sometimes she gets so mad and just gives up... wonder if I need to up my H20 intake, lazy about that.

Anyone have ideas?

i find that it is a lot mental with my let downs. know how you almost always have a let down when you're in a store and you hear someone else's baby crying. if i am stressed (by a toddler climbing on me while i'm trying to nurse) then i find i need to close my eyes and take a deep breath and visualize myself relaxing and nursing. same techniques that got me through labor sometimes.

wow! lots of helpful info.....i like the pavlov/conditioning thing.

i think i just need a little extra stimulation before she latches...gonna try that next time!
