Oi, I don't remember being quite this sore last time. I've started pumping to get myself a week's worth of breastmilk saved so I'm a week ahead for when I go back to work and wow, I'm tender!

I've never felt any pain while I'm pumping (unless i didn't get it centered and my nipple is sqaushed up against the side :) ), but sometimes i feel a little sore a while after i'm done pumping. Good luck...pumping is no fun to me!

Yep, that's the part I'm talking about. Yikes... I'm only pumping once a day. What's it going to be like when I'm doing it three times a day?

Beth was a preemie and I pumped every 3 hours or so for about 12 weeks.....it gets really old after a while. What kind of pump do you have? That can make all the difference

Medela PIS... so it's a good pump. Maybe I just have to toughen up :)

Adjust the suction until you get more accustomed to it.

I pumped for work with Greggy (ds#1) and I was sore in the beginning and my body I guess just got used to it. I pumped every 3-4 hours at work (I worked 12 hour shifts at the time) and then nursed immediately when I came home. I was so full by then LOL...
Good luck with everything ! :)

i pumped just a few times and it increased my milk supply quite a bit and that was starting to get painful...fortunately i'm not pumping anymore and not experiencing that. i think it will adjust over time though.

I pump 3x a day now, and my pump is much gentler to me than my son is right now... :(
Turn down the pressure and make sure you have the right size sheilds. Also, I think medela makes "soft" shields as well.
