My belly is still really tender. The outer incision is well healed. It's not infected or open or anything. My belly is so darn tender though. Zella uses it for a launching board and it hurts like heck. Winnie or Finn will occasionally lean or something into my belly and same thing. Ow! Should I be worried? We're without insurance so I don't know if going to have it checked is an option. I'll call doc today and find out if it would be covered since it's related to the C-Section, but for all I know it's perfectly normal, lol.

Doesn't sound normal to me. I've had 3 c/s's and haven't had pain at 3+ months post op yet. Give your OB a call and see what he/she says. :)

I still have pain at 1 year PP at the incision area. I'm going to ask about it in a week or so when I have a dr's appt. as it wasn't like this the first time around.

I've been told via telephone that it's likely adhesions, which are normal and will go away or loosen up eventually. I tried googling it but haven't found any good information. If I do, I will pass it along.

it's very important, after any surgery, to massage the incision area. this helps to keep any adhesions from forming and to keep scar tissue from building up. also using mederma or straight onion juice will help the redness.

i have had 3 csections and never had any pain at the site after 2 weeks post op. have you taken any homeopathics or used any herbals before and after surgery to help the healing?

I agree, I've had 4 c sections, and I have never had any pain past 6 weeks. Maybe you need to see a Doc?
