Well, pak right now. . . Jonathan is sick right now - poor babe. Has an eye and ear infection. Super-congested. I'm sure it had something to do with 4 planes, 3 airports, and 2 days visiting with his grandfather in a hospital. Anyway.
He rolled over five times at 20 days and smiled at 6 weeks. He's 7 weeks now. He's a doll and I love him so much more than I thought I would at this time.
lets see, Simon was 3m on the 19th. He is around 27-27.5in and 20lbs. He is in 9-12 and 12-18m in clothing (mostly 12-18). He has rolled both directions, and is strong as an ox! He is almost to the point that you can carry him on your hip. He can sit with a bit of support. Loves to wiggle-- you cant leave him unattended-- he will end up several feet away from where you left him, through a combo of rolling and scooting.
He is drooling like a fiend, so I am assuming that we will have teeth in the next month or so. I am NOT ready for teeth-- that means he is getting closer to being ready for solids-- can't believe it is coming so quickly this time! He loves to sleep in the swing, otherwise cant stand it. Loves ceiling fans, Baby einstein videos (his brother likes to watch them, and he will honestly sit through an entire one in the bouncy seat, watching and sucking and chewing his hands-- lol not that I regularly leave him sitting in the bouncy watching videos ;) ) He will sit and watch DH work contentedly in the bouncy seat, but if I try it he yells at me until I pick him up. He is a smiley, happy baby most of the time. Hates the carseat-- hoping that changes when we move him up to the Marathon. Takes a paci very occasionally. I think as soon as he gains a smidge more control over the hands he wont anymore--- he prefers his hands now, but they still wake him up.
I think I fogot how happy a baby can make everyone-- it is truly an amazing gift!Having SImon so soon after MIL passed away has given FIL something else to focus on, and an excuse to visit us frequently.
Looking forward to reading about all of the other babies!

Lets see, Finn will be 1 month this Friday. I wasnt expecting him to arrive till this week.
We are just about done getting baby stuff out of the basement finally, our house is a super wreck.
He is sleeping in 4 hour stretches at night
He doesnt like anyone but me much.
He is starting to get interested in the world more and trying to lift his head. He has also just started grabbing my shirt my hair anything that touches his hand. His awake times are getting a little interactive which is great. He nurses and poops alot.

Harrison is 8 weeks old, weighs 16 pounds (was 11 at birth) and 25 inches long (23 at birth). He smiles a lot, especially at his big sisters. He has pretty good head control, sort of came out with it. He is very easy going and content to just hang with me in the sling, or lay on a blanket watching everything going on around him. He's a fab sleeper, only wakes once during the night to nurse and naps fairly well during the day.
He's such a great little guy :hbeat:

Alannah is 11 weeks. She weighs about 12 lbs (was 11.5 a week ago) and was 6.4 at birth. She's 23" (a hair under 19" at birth). She JUST started really smiling a week ago. She's holding her head steadyier now, and likes to sit supported (didn't used to). Every once in a while, she'll sleep through the night, but most nights she wakes 1x about 5am (though she eats at 11-12 too) No signs of rolling yet, though a giggle may be around the corner as she gets really excited sometimes when we're playing with her, and squeels a bit now (new a couple days ago).
I've finally got her allergies (dairy and soy) under control (meaning, I've finally got them cleared from me) and as weird as it sounds, I'm glad to have leaky poopy diapers! We never used to have them, and it's reassuring to have normal poops! lol Hopefully she won't develop any new ones, and she outgrows the dairy one REALLY soon (I'm dying for cheese!). Though I'd love chinese food too - and it's just not the same without soy sauce.

let's see, if Finn is almost one month that means Rowan is too. lol
he is about 13 lbs give or takea few ounces either way. he has really good head contro for a babe his age but he was born really muscular comparativly speaking anyway. so i attribute this to his activity in the womb. he smiles a little but i am not sure if he means it really yet. lol
he's a great sleeper so far, once he gets to sleep he nly wakes up acouple times a night. BUT it takes hi hours toget to sleep sometimes. during which he cries and fusses and is a poor miserable little guy.
he often stays up till 11 at night and then wakes up at 5:30 am for the day lol poor me
his poopies aren't as seedy as i think they should be but he nurses almsot exclusivly on the left breast so i don't know what to do about that.
i have his allergies narrowed down to chocolate, soy milk, or he is really allergic to dairy. i am hoping for dairy sincei already don't eat it...the only dairy i eat is in milk chocolate. i will be fine eating vegan chocolate but i would really really prefer nto having to give up chocolate...and having to give up soy will make being an almost vegan very hard lol. which i usually am when i am not pregg or nursing a newborn.
Sylvie will be 4 months on August 8. She WAS a champion sleeper, but now she is so so. She nurses some at night, but I have no idea how much, so probably not too much. About half the time she sleeps a few hours in her bed in our room, but she is moving into our bed earlier and earlier. It's just part of her developing awarenes, I think.
EC is going great at night. She either stays dry or cues us 5 out of 7 nights. During the day, we have more misses, but still not too many. I think this communication helps her be even mellower.
A couple of evenings last week, she got overtired and cried more than she's cried since the night after she was born. Otherwise, she just doesn't really cry. She might complain, but no real crying.
And, she quite plump, but not as much as the first two at this point, I think.

DS is now three months old. He loves to talk, loves to "sing" very loudly, and when he is angry/frustrated his "talks" with his eyebrows scrunched up in an "angry face" to let us know he is displeased (if we don't get it, or if an unpracticed visitor thinks he's just being cute, this does eventually turn to crying).
He's still eating every 2 hours at night (someone please tell me if this is normal) after having had a couple of weeks going 4 hours and then 2 hours.... WHat I wouldn't give to have those 4 hour stretches back!
It looks like he might be poking a tooth through in the oddest place (like where our adult k9 teeth are).
I was going to hold off food until 6 months but now i'm thiking maybe 4 months for a variety of reasons.... but we'll see because normally i just go with my mummy gut.
He's just about grown out of his infant seat too ... he's 25.75 inches long and about 16 lbs or so.
I am totally in love with this little guy... his laid back personality... his nursing smiles and grins :)

oh yeah ec, lol, i am frusterated and decided to hold off for a month because ds2 clearly knows when he has to potty and hates the feeling
BUT
he hates sitting on the potty even more. so i cue him when he has to pee but in his diaper and change immeadiatly. lol
i iwsh we were having more luck but we have time and it's no pressure after all
Hey Selissa-
I don't know how it went with Lucien, but for us, it got MUCH easier with Sylvie around 10 weeks, and night time pottying got even easier after the three month mark.
Yea, I like the no pressure thing. I kind got worked up about it at first, but now, it's just fun.
Also, Sylvie is also doing all the cooing and talking and giggles and reaching you would expect at this age. I am so much more laid back this time around, and she is the first of my baby's to hit milestones at the "right" time. Ugh! So many messages from the universe that I need to cool it.

Ella is now almost 3 weeks old
I love her to pieces.
She is having gas and her poops don't come quite as often, but I am hoping that her latch gets better (still working on it) then she'll be relieved some.
I have eliminated dairy from my diet. I think that is contributing to her spitting up. And I am trying to lessen the milk flow (I think I have OAL) to help out with everything.
She has her days and nights backwards! hahaha!
She was 9 pounds at her 2 wk check up... :)

Hello all... I guess I'll be hanging around this forum for a while. :)
Emalina is 18 days old and doing great. She has lots of awake time and likes to look out the window. This is a lot different than my son. It took him a few weeks to really be alert. He mostly slept. Ema on the other hand... she likes to nurse a little, than sleep a little. I'm still in the abundant milk phase and I wish she would just sit still and eat a full meal so that I can get some relief.
I'm not sure what her stats are. My home scale says 11lbs, but I doubt it. (8-8 at birth) She has definatly chunked up and has filled out most of her 0-3 month clothes. I'm starting to have to put things away already.
She's a good sleeper at night. Her prefered bedtime seems to be around 7pm. If I keep her up beyond that, than she gets really cranky until I lay down in bed with her.
I'm doing good. Almost fit back into my per-preggo clothes. I'm still 20lbs heavier than when I started, but I'm ok with it as long as I don't have to buy new clothes. :) I love being a mommy of two. I went 'back to work' today and am finding that it's more fun to just sit and hold Ema while Liam sleeps instead of sewing or writing HTML... go figure! Oh well, It's only my first day back.

Mark turned 2 months old on the 18th. He weighed 12.13 at his checkup and was 24inches long, so probably over 13# now and 24 1/2 -25 inches long. He has super chunky legs lol. He likes to be on his belly so he can pop his little head up and look around. He just LOVES to be talked to, no matter who it is in this house. He loves it. He has been trying to get a thumb in his mouth for a week or so now and seems to finally have given up a little on that and is settling for as many fingers as he can fit in his mouth. Drooling like mad too, so teeth are on the way. He is nursing well and sleeping great. He doesnt take the paci nearly as much as my other 2 did, but I think he uses me for a paci more than Im happy with at night. Since we cosleep I tend to just roll over and give him a boob just so we can sleep...gotta find a different solution. He REALLY loves to just watch us and does his own little motions as his way of interacting with the situation. Especially when we are eating, he mimics us a lot when we are eating.
He has kept a lot of his newborn hair and has since gotten a bit more new hair, all darker than my other kids. He looks like he is going to have blue eyes, though dh thinks they will be green but dd had blue eyes until she was 6 months old and now they are hazel. James had bright blues from the beginning, so it will be fun to see where Mark goes with this. Also he seems to mostly favor his left hand. He has tried to roll over a few times but just hasnt gotten it quite yet. He can be held sitting up and holds his head up mostly.
He smiles and laughs tons! I cant believe how much he giggles. And I swear he is trying to talk to me! Plus he is reaching for things and is bringing his hands together. And I wish you could have seen his face when I was showing him his feet!! LOL
He is still on Zantac. We tried to take him off for a couple of days and it was bad. Not a lot of throwing up out of his mouth, but a lot of him swallowing it and crying. So we decided it wasnt worth it to do that to him and back on the Zantac he went. I will try to take him off again in another month before his next refill.
He is such a pefect fit into our family. The kids adore him. And its just fun to watch what he brings out in everyone.

Leila is 4 days old.. had her first checkup today.. 7 pounds 3 ounces, and 19 3/4 inches (I KNEW the hospital had her too long when they said 20 1/2, but that's her "official" length).. I am so desperately in love with her already.. I am WAY more bonded with her than I was either of the others at this point.. she's just amazing.. and I NEEDED her, but didn't know it, if that makes any sense. While I was pregnant with her, I told everyone she didn't kick, but would hit me with her hands.. and since birth, she rarely uncrosses her feet and kicks her legs.. but she's got lots of arm movements. She's very serene.. and.. did I say I love her so much already? :couple:

So exciting to hear about everyone's new babies. Truman is 4 weeks old today. He was 11 1/2 pounds a week ago, and I imagine he has gained more. He is much more alert at times and just silly. Breastfeeding well, sleeping a lot, making lots of diapers. He is a very easy going baby!

Everything is going great here, 6th time is a charm!
Nursing has gone well from the start. I have more milk than ever before and tandeming for the third time is easier than ever. We had a small battle with thrush but it is mostly gone now.
Kerah had some weird green poos but after dropping dairy, and re-arranging some of the suppliments I was taking (prenatal vits, kidney tincture, cranberry caps, Oxyquench, and Nettles) she is back to totally seedy yellow poos! Most of my kids have been sensative to dairy but eliminating it never seemed to help all they way. This time I think I was taking in too much iron too.
Another plus is she is NOT a spitter upper! So many of my kids have been so it is so nice not to have to be bothered by that.
She seems to be right on target for milestones and growth. I think I saw a bit of a smile today, and WOW it really melted my heart. I can't believe how much joy comes for seeing a little fat smile. I am in heaven.
Kerah still has blue/grey eyes and I am wondering if she'll keep them. That would definately be a first in our family since all but me, I'm hazel, have dark brown.
OH, I forgot to add, last night I woke up and realized it had been over 3 hours since I had nursed Kerah and I looked down at her all snuggled up next to my breast, and she had her thumb in her mouth. She was just sucking away. It was so precious.
Hope to get a new sig pic soon as she has changed so much.

It's so nice to read about all the babes!!
Rebecca- I hope Jonathan feels better soon! :(
Faith will be 4mos on the 8th of August, too!
She is 14lbs even and 23.5". Up from 6lbs and 17.5". I'm just totally in love with her, as are her siblings and Dad.
She's pretty mellow, just happy to be held. She doesn't do alot yet, but the smiles we get out of her are delicious!! Oh, it's just so nice to have a little baby in the house again!
She does have quite a temper at times, though. (see sig)
She is off the Zantac for reflux, I took her off, it really didn't reduce her upset or spitting... so I refused the refill and a great side benefit has been that she has begun pooping everyday, rather than every week or so. So, I just deal with the occasional puke, but mostly, she has really learned to self limit at nursing, and she sqwaaks for her binky when she's done at the boob. (Of course, only another mama could understand why I'm so proud of that!)
She has a low iron count, but I refused the nasty Iron drops for now. I read so much about how they really upset the balance of the gut, etc. Besides...I just got her pooping normally!
I usually don't start solids until 9m to 1yr but may start earlier (maybe 6mos) to get that iron up. She is definately not ready for solids yet, but I'm using the "we'll start sooner" to keep the dr happy. (She lurks here LOL)
I work for my dr when DH is home and get to take Faith with, which is awesome. I was hoping not to go back to work for awhile, but considering I went on maternity leave at 13 weeks...I can't really complain. Plus, I really love my boss. <----can I have a raise? *snort*
That's us... :)
And I have to say...can't wait till Snugbug comes home from Spain. I really miss her!!! I'll bet Bayus is so big!!

i'll have to read all the updates later...but i'll give my own update. jackson is 3 1/2 months old and he's a big chunker. he is around 17 lbs and at least 25 or 26 inches tall. he's wearing 9-12 month clothing...and is wearing the same size diapers as his 2 year old sister.
he's trying really hard to roll over but i think the many many rolls of fat are inhibiting it a bit. he's laughing so much and is really sweet. he is in love with his sister and really loves to play with her.
jackson has been better spitting up...ie he's been doing it less..but it's still a problem...dairy free didn't do much and now i've started zantac but i actually forgot to bring it here on our vacation to the beach.

Rónán is 13 1/2 weeks old. I just weighed him & he is 13 1/4#. My best length measurement was 24". It was hard to get a good one though. He's reaching out for things, sucks his thumb some and gnaws on his hands a lot with lots of drool. He talks for a long time when he does and he is so serious then. Recently he started laughing out loud and it seems so funny to hear (and see because he really cracks up). He also started screaming out loud. I think his sister taught him that at the begining of this week. He likes to smile. He likes it when I can hold him and play with him in the pool. He didn't like it as much when he was in the water sling and I had to help his sister. Believe it or not he's still wearing size 0 kissaluvs and a few other newborn diaper (sugar plum babies) along with some small diapers, including size 1 kissaluvs. He wakes probably 2-3 times a night to nurse but I hardly wake up. His 2 year old sister wakes me up a lot more than he does (she's louder & more demanding). Overall he's good natured.

is just over 2months old and doing great! She slept the longest ever last night from 11:30pm to 4am! Never thought I'd jump for joy on that little sleep. Autumn sleeps with me and brother and we have perfected the 2 kid roll LOL. Hunter has to fall asleep holding Autumns hand or he says she will be afraid of monsters. She is holding her head up better and better and can manage to kinda roll to the side. We broke bad and did the 2 month well baby and found her to be 22inches and 12.8lbs. Her red spikey hair is growing so fast. She had a few rough weeks of bowel issues but she is pooping more regularly now. I am so proud of big brother, he is super attentive to her.

Reagan is 4 months and about 15 pounds, 24 inches long. She finally sleeps well at night but not during the day. I can handle that though. She is teething...drooling like crazy and chewing on anything and everything she can get her hands on :) . I took her off the Zantac because she seemed better even though she still spits up occasionally. She didn't seem to be in pain like before so we stopped. She smiles and laughs and coos and loves her big brother best of all!

Isaac was 12 weeks old yesterday. He was 10lbs 13 ounces almost a week ago and has grown several inches since birth. We had a good bit of difficulty for a while with maintaining and gaining weight due to my low milk supply, but it just got all better at 11 1/2 weeks. i knew the time would come, and i feel very proud that i persevered and have an exclusively bf baby despite all of the issues. He has been gaining weight well for the past three weeks now. :)
He's a very active baby, but also cuddly. he's been rolling over from tummy to back for a while now and has recently begun to scoot forward with his legs while he's on his tummy. he just started sucking his hands and grabbing at the toys hanging down from his playgym. we thought he was going to be a really serious guy because he rarely smiled, but he's smiling so much more now...and talking...i love to hear all of his sounds(especially being a speech pathologist!).
so very in love with this guy. love his blue eyes, his spiky hair, and everything about him. hard to believe he will ever do anything wrong!
