I just wanted to take a minute to say hi and reintro myself here on the sewing forum. I have never been a big poster on this forum, mostly because I am just super lazy about uploading pictures of my sewnshows... well no more excuses, I'll get with it now!

I'm going through a few things I've made in the past year and will post a retro-sagemama-sns later :)

So, intro wise... My name is Jolene, my dh and I just bought AW from Amity and we are really excited. I have a degree in fashion design and another in business. I love to sew, knit, bind books, collage, craft (esp natural/waldorfy), I'm trying to fit in hand spinning... I will do just about anything creative when I have a minute of time.

I love sewing, and especially pattern drafting, it was/is my strength in design. I used to get more time to actually sew, but now sewing is relagated to the corners of my life generally...

Anyways, glad to be here more actively after three plus years at AW, and you guys will surely be sick of me soon :)

How exciting to have a degree in Fashion Design. :monkeydan Where did you graduate from? My parents worked with Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles from 1979-1996/7 (can't remember when it moved lol). I can remember being a little girl of about 5 or 6 modeling for the designers. Good memories. :)

We will definitely be picking your brains!!!

Oh, I don't know how exciting it is but thanks! I went to a very small school in MA- Endicott College. I was planning on NYC, but I got engaged to this incredible man at a ridiculously early age... and we chose to go to a place we both liked a school near. It all worked out in the long run or sure, as I didn't get myself as deeply in debt and then I decided to be a SAHM so my skills are of higher use than that silly law degree I thought I wanted instead ;) I totally loved the study, it was always challenging.
