Im trying to get everything together for when Sara is here....hehe not much longer, anyway, I breastfed both of my others, not for long but i tried it for awhile...and im wondering this time around, because i remember the dry sore nipples in the beginning....what do yall use? I can get Pure Lanolin (well i assume its pure-thats what they say) from the Indian Clinic (thats where i get my meds) Is that pretty much like the Lanolin that LLL recommends? And does anyone have a small container of it that i can buy from you, just to get started? That stuff is HIGH.....TIA...

I have an almost new tube of lansinoh i'd be happy to send to you. I've never had to use it past the first few days. pm me so i 'll be sure to see it as i'm without dh for the weekend and may have limited online time!

I would after a feeding session express a little milk and rub it into the nipple area.

Lansinoh worked really well for me. I like that it doesn't have to be cleaned off for nursing. I also used it during my last few weeks of pregnancy because I had read that it would help my nipples to be a little more supple.

Latch and positioning is so important. I hope that you'll have great breastfeeding support. :)
