I'm all for it! Let me know when and where. :) We kinda got out of the habit of going to the zoo every week, but I think it's still just $1 admission on weds. I also have a membership to the aquarium that allows me to get one adult guest and like six children in free.

We don't do zoos, my heart can't handle it, lol. If we could save the money up I know that Ben would love the aquarium! I wouldn't mind just meeting at a place with an indoor playground. I don't necassarly like the food at McDonalds but it beats sitting out in the cold at an outdoor park, lol.

Playworld Down Under on Hwy 58 is a VERY cool indoor playground, and DD1 has been begging to go back there again. They are closed on Weds. Admission is cheaper than parking costs downtown... they even have a special area just for toddlers (and discounted admission for toddlers, too).

How cool! I have never head of that place but it sounds awesome (and without the crappy food, lol). I would be game for meeting there. Who else is in?

Hi Stacy!!! We miss you over there at MDC :) I haven't poked around too much here, but it looks pretty cool. I would love to get together soon. DD is at the age where she really likes to play with other kids, and I don't have much in common with the mamas I know IRL. (they cio, non-gd, etc)

kewl! tell me when is good for everyone else, I don't much mind either way, as long as it isn't too early! later in the day, schoolkids take over everywhere, so I'd much prefer like noonish? But whatever is fine with us anyway. :) We are very close to the PlayWorld, but if somewhere else is better for you all, that's okay too.

Hi Ashlee! I'm still looking for my new internet home, got sucked in reading some threads here, but mostly I'm still lurking. :)

I could do any day this week except Wed. Actually, any day any week except Wednesdays. I have to be at work at 3 pm, so unless we did something early it won't work for me. :)

My son has speech on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I have physical therapy on Mondays. That leaves Wednesdays or Fridays for me.

I have a short notice strange request to ask of you mamas. There is a Chattanooga mom on MDC that needs some help. She has a speech she has to perform in front of 5 people, and she doesn't know *anyone* in town. (It's for a class at Chatt State)My mom and a friend have agreed to participate, but she needs (minimum) 2 more people. It will take place tonight at 6 pm at my mom's house in Fortwood by UTC. I don't think it will take very long. If anyone can make it I know she would appreciate it. :) (Kids are welcome)

The Chattanooga Eclectic Homeschool group meets the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, so if I go anywhere on those days, it's to meet with them. We are not very good about getting out in the mornings, just can't manage to get ready and out the door. midday/early afternoons are much better for me. But don't hold back on making plans on my account, I'll try my best to make it!

Ashlee - if it's just a few minutes, I might be able to swing by without the kids... do you still have my phone number? give me a call. I honestly can't think of anything more torturous than sitting through a speech on WIC, but if you read this in time, LMK where to go. I'll ask DH right now if he's okay watching the girls for a little while tonight. I don't think having them with me would be conducive to listening... ;)

noonish tomorrow at PlayWorld Down Under sounds terrific!! We will be there, whether anyone else is or not. :) Does everyone know where it is? It's in that shopping center with Family Dollar, right before you get to the liquor store, on the right if you are coming from 153.

after 12 is best for us. ella usually naps from around 10:30 to 12, so any time after that is good. :)

just let me know when and where, and we'll try our hardest to make it. I can't make any promises, but I'll try my best to be there! Getting both girls in a cooperative mood, and ready to go anywhere is sometimes really difficult.

I know ya'll just went to the down under place, but I think Ella would love it there. If your kiddos don't mind going again, that is. ;)
