Romans bday was Sunday and we had his party saturday. He was so funny! He's not extremely verbal, but getting there.
So everyone sang happy birthday to him and we'd practiced so he actually blew out his own candles. It was adorable. Then he said (and signed) "more" and it was so darn cute my uncle said 'how can we refuse him" and started everyone singing happy birthday again. I re-lit one of the candles and he blew it out again lol
That was our cutest bday moment. He did well with the opening of gifts. Stopping to play with each one to the delight of the gift giver before realizing there was another bag or box to open.
Having boys is so different. I have a houseful of trucks, balls, tools and little people lol. And suddenly he is doing puzzles constantly so will be using bday money to get some more I think. He wore his bday crown to church Sunday and fell asleep in it - the entire congregation it seemed came over to giggle at him and wish him a happy birthday while he slept.
I cannot believe my tiny baby is 2 years old. Sitting at the table eating oatmeal in his buzz lightyear shorts lol. It seems like yesterday I was telling everyone here that my water broke and I was going to vbac my baby boy.
