We've used Tranisitions, Level D, Level E, and part of Level A with younger dd.
My kids love it! Older dd had tried Miquon (which she hated) and Singapore (which she got bored with). Older dd was convinced that she hated math and was awful at it. A couple of years with RightStart changed that attitude.
I love the concepts behind it. I had read up on how Montessori schools teach math, and also how math is taught in Asian countries -- RightStart meshes so well with some of the best of those concepts.
What I don't like -- the typos. I think these are being corrected in newer printings (I hope). There was a section of D where the numerals 3 and 7 were subbed for each other, which was rather a trick to figure out, kwim? I emailed Joan Cotter about it, and she was appropriately appalled.
As always, I don't teach the curriculum purely...by which I mean that I tend to add in things I like, skip over things that I don't like. For instance, when dd was working on the times tables in Level D we also did some Waldorfy type things to work on those using whole body movements. And I thought the way numeral-writing was taught in Level A was dorky, so we did something else there.
