Well, there isnt a thread with TX listed on the main forum, but since Texas is most definetly SOUTH CENTRAL-ly located, I figured I would post here.

I am in Southeast TX, about 21/5 ish hours away from Houston. Anyone near me, or in Texas at all?? :kittypink

Problem is Texas is a big darn state!!! LOL.

I live in East Texas. Humble/Atascosita for now but I'll soon be moving to the Dayton/Huffman area. Which is northeast of Houston.

But prolly moving back to Tx when dh deploys. Wichita Falls, North Tx.

I was born and lived in Lake Jackson South of Houston.

And I grew up in Bastrop near Austin :)

Houston, here. I've got lots of friends here in Houston who I met through Hipmama, when that was still happening. Its a great group!

We are currently in Austin. :) DH is a native Houstonian... yep there are a few of those. :D I'm a California transplant since I was in 6th grade (1981). We've lived all over the Houston area. Spring/1960 (went to Klein), Clear Lake, Katy and Meyerland. We even lived down on Galveston Island for a while... :heart: loved that. Miss living a block from the Seawall...

I still met up occasionally with a group of Houston cloth diapering moms in Houston.

Houston, here. I've got lots of friends here in Houston who I met through Hipmama, when that was still happening. Its a great group!

It's nice, but it's also taking some getting used to. I've always lived in big towns and cities! But, I did meet a great guy shortly after moving here, and now we've been married three months, one week and three days : )

Well, we're almost neighbors! I have a *friend* in Wylie who's moving to California (or may have already moved). My husband works in Plano and, as much as I love Denton, with gas prices the way they are, I think we may start needing to look that way. I don't really want to move to Plano, but have thought about Wylie, Allen, McKinney.... Frisco seems to be getting a little out-of-control size-wise, but I don't know. I don't know anything about Fairview, but I love the Robert Muller School that's there.

Well I am in D/FW often as my family lives there. We should get together sometime. We will be there the end of Oct - beg of November. Not sure the exact dates just yet. Alsi have family in Grapevine. I would love to meet some more Mamas!
