The end of our bf relationship?

The last two days Katie has nursed once in the day and both times she abruptly stopped and said "YUCK!" very loudly and went on her merry way.

I just sat there with my mouth gaping thinking, "Does she mean 'yuck' to nursing?" So the second time she did it I asked her and she said "yes".

She nursed this morning in bed, though, so I don't know how "yucky" it actually is for her, LOL!

She is nearly 3.5 years old. I know that it will be any day now that she'll stop. I can't even believe we are still nursing. The longest I've ever nursed before is to 21 months.

Anyway, has anyone else had this strange experience?

My dd said something similar around the same age. I even said to her, that if my milk was yucky, why was she nursing? I think she laughed and said she was just kidding. She went on to nurse 2-3 times a week until her 4th birthday. It's been almost a year now and she still nuzzles and fondles my breasts -- at the most inopportune moments. :rolleyes:
