This is the item I woke up and had dreamt about the other night (er...3 nights ago...been sewing like crazy and lost track of time!) SO this is a reversable skirt, one side is patchwork, the reverse is strippy. Basically two skirts in one. This was SO time consuming and took about 10yrds of fabric, too. OY!

I am praying it does well on eBay for as much time as I put in to it. Here's hoping!

BUT this isn't spam (I won't even tell you my ID to find it even! LOL), I just wanted to show it off. :happy: I am so incredibly proud of this, more than anything I have ever made, particularly the patchy side. ;)

On the bright side, although it took a LOT of work and pulling my hair our hours ;) I am making a regular square patchwork for a trade for someone right now and that skirt above is making this one feel like a complete breeze and pleasure to work on! LOL

LOL Yes, it was a heck of a lot of top stitching. It's all french seams, too which is probably what made it take even longer (plus if you make a mistake, that's THREE rows of stitches to remove! LOL).

You have so much patience to do all that work! Reversable clothes are great for travel. You get two different outfits and only have to pack one!

Well, it didn't sell, even at my low (considering cost and time) starting bid of 34.99. Not sure whether to relist it on eBay, save it for when I open my site and put it on there (though not sure what to ask for it) or give it to someone I think would enjoy it.

It's just staring at me mocking me now. :eyes: :lol:

Cindy ~ What a bummer. I am sorry. It really is gorgeous. Maybe try again in a few weeks. I think most people are in school shopping mode right now - or at least gearing up. I know I am waiting till after school starts to get some things that I need and want.
