Well...I cannot share any creation because every iota of sewing paraphernalia I own is packed. I took my machine to DH's apartment so it wouldn't get bumped around in the moving truck. We are set to close July 21st, pending everything goes smoothly and set to move July 23rd. Our house here in Baton Rouge closes on July 29th and then we will be set to start our new lives. :)
I finally got to see the inside of the house on Saturday, and it was everything I hoped it would be.
Just in case you like peeking in houses:

First time I have used snapfish, it made it easier to add captions so you knew what you were looking at. :)
Hopefully by August 1st, I will be up and sewing again!

Are you still going to be in LA?? Or are you escaping the horrible heat and humidity, lol???No it is stinking hot there too. We are moving to Pineville, LA which is right smack in the middle of Louisiana. The only thing we are leaving behind is Hurricanes, which is a plus. :)

Wow Stacey! Looks beautiful. I especially love the view to the fireplace from the front door.
Is you DH all done with school/residency/etc.?

 What a lovely house. The outside and the yard is just gorgeous! And the inside definitely has some nice potential. Everything looks really clean and crisp and the rooms are nice sized. I can't wait to see pics of it with some color on the walls and your family all nice and cozy inside.

Is you DH all done with school/residency/etc.?I wish very much that he was, this has been a long, *long* journey for us. He is done with Internship August 12th, but still has to finish his disseration. He needs to propose in the next 4 weeks so he can get a committee together and be done enough to graduate Dec 2005. Regardless of his technical status...as soon as he finishes writing, he is done and they will hire him at a doctor's salary.
Thankfully, we will have a small cushion from the proceeds of our house here in Baton Rouge to float us until he gets himself together. At this point I just want to be a good wife and do everything in my power to help him over this last hurdle, because once he is over it will benefit us all. :D

:big hug: to you! I'm currently a "Ph.D. widow" at some points so my heart is with yours.
