We live in a poor air quality area, and the older two have asthma (surprise, surprise). So, when they had runny noses for a week, I thought nothing of it, as the bad air can cause allergy like symptoms in them. Now, Sylvie feels the slightest bit feverish and her nose started to run today. She IS a month older than Phaedra was the first time she got sick, but there is nothing like a sick baby to make me feel like a bad mother. (Ezra was probably 7 months old the first time he got sick.)

How old were yours when they got their first colds?

Truman picked up a little cold from his cousin at about 8 wks. Then he got another cold from daycare about a month later. The cough lasted for a long time.

I'm so glad they aren't in daycare anymore.
