I made (most of) this Baby Nay shirt while at Shecki's on Thursday.KS 3338
It was going to be for me. Dd Gabriella really liked it :D I happily gave it to her. Nice when a teen likes what you sew. I also made a matching skirt for Eliana. I made the t-shirt from a Jalie pattern. Dark Red~Mulberry knit from SewZannes.

I post this pic as a sigh and a smile. Why do our little girls have to grow up into women? so quickly. It's both a beautiful and hard thing.

Those are great, and I love that print! I can't even imagine my girls as teens, eek! But I couldn't imagine Chloë being a 5 y.o. and she already is and it seemed so fast. Time just flies by....

Dont tell me they grow up?? :lol: I dont want to think about it!! I recently told dh that I want to keep having kids til my kids give me grandkids so that I dont ache so bad that they are getting older, :lol: Lets just say that he didnt think that was the best idea I had ever had.. LOL

She's beautiful! And I love the first pic too. It's nice seeing pictures of older and younger siblings when they are so obviously loving towards one another. The top looks great on her. I always am happy when my girls like what I sew too, and would also have happily turned the top over to them.

I love the shirt and fabric.. I totally am there with you. My oldest is 16 and driving and going to graduate this year a whole year early.. She just finished her first sememster in coll.. She had to take Comp 1 & 2 and a computer class to have her senior credits in... MY middle daughter will turn 13 on Monday the 11th.. And Josh is no longer a baby at 7 yrs.. waaaaaaaa where do the days go?? Your daughter is Beautiful young woman...

Awwww both outfits look fantastic!! Gabriel is such a beautiful lady!! It's fantastic that a teen will still wear her mama's creations! I only hope I am as lucky!! :)
