I call Lawrence my home, although I am living in Germany. When I go home, I go to Lawrence...I'll be there sometime before Xmas...I would love to get together with anyone!!!!

I was actually thinking about seeing if a bunch of us wanted to get together maybe once a month for a big crafty project day - for example, in September, we could get together and can applesauce and then split the batch. Kids could play, we could can.

Or something else along those lines, but a regular once a month day - say last Friday of the month.


And, Amy, if you come out to Lawrence, I would be more than happy to make the drive to meet up with you in Lawrence - it would be great to meet you and Lawrence - IMO - is the best place in all of the KC metro area!

i start working in september, but it is only t w th, so fridays would be great for me. there is a pretty good orchard not far from my house where we could go pick apples, too:) there is so much to do here, i am sure we could find plenty:D

Well, we just opened our last jar of my applesauce, so I DEFINITELY have to make more this fall. Picking apples would be good.

I'll be working M-Tu, so Fridays sound good.

Wonder if anyone else would be up for it?
