I keep trying to get my dh to have us take a road trip back to Eureka Springs. We need another Arkansas mama get together and I WILL come next time (and Selissa - I'm really wanting you to go too).

We are in Corpus Christi. It is kind of far. LOL! But, not too far to go to meet lots of awesome mamas! :)

Hey, I'm in lowell! I LOVE Eureka Springs. I'm close enuf to just go for a day trip. It's a nice atmosphere.

we aren't too far. we went through bentonville in march of 04 to go on vacation. it is like three hours or so:)

The get together actually did not happen. It looks like Angela is coming through again, but I honestly dont see myself being able to have whole lotta time again. And with Joy super busy, well, a big get together woudl be a real dissapointment I am afraid.

BUT, possibly in September we could try to gather...that is before bball season and after the major heat.

I would love to be a hostess but I am afraid I woudl fail you all miserably. My kids have me pretty busy this summer until liek the 3rd week of August.

I would agree that September or even early October would be better. I'm pretty certain my kids and I could come down, it's my dh I'm not sure about (but we would be there!)

hey you guys, if we wanted to plan a get together this fall (sounds great, b/c we have no a/c and i can't in good conscience invite people to gehenna aka my home until it's cooler) and AW went down, we'd have no way to plan it. :eyes:

if you guys want to join the yahoo group i just set up (aw refugee camp (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AWrefugeecamp/members)) we coukd stay in touch no matter what happens with AW.

we are in eureka springs twice a week, bentonville once a week, for farmer's markets, by the way! i'd love to meet you all.
